Delete your data
There is no account to delete. The game keeps your progress on your phone, so most of your data goes away when you remove the game. For the little data our service providers hold, send us one e-mail.
1. Data on your phone
Your save, your privacy choices and your in-game photo album are stored only on your device. To delete them:
- Android: Settings → Apps → Rust to Riches → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the game.
- iPhone and iPad: Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Rust to Riches → Delete App.
This cannot be undone, and we cannot restore it, because we never had a copy. Purchases stay with your store account and can be restored if you install the game again.
2. Data held by our service providers
Analytics events, crash reports and ad data are linked to a random installation identifier, not to your name. To have them deleted:
- Open the game and go to Settings → Privacy. Note the identifier shown there.
- E-mail our privacy contact with the subject “Data deletion request”, the identifier, and whether you play on Android or iOS.
- We ask Firebase and the other providers listed in the Privacy Policy, section 4 to delete the data linked to that identifier, and reply to confirm. We answer within 30 days, usually much sooner.
If you have already uninstalled the game and cannot see the identifier, write to us anyway and we will do what we can with the details you give.
What may be kept
- Purchase records that tax and accounting law requires us to keep, for as long as the law requires.
- Totals without identifiers (for example “how many players finished job 3”), which cannot be linked to you.
Retention periods are listed in the Privacy Policy, section 8.
Stop future collection without deleting the game
- Switch analytics and personalised ads off under Settings → Privacy in the game.
- Reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.
